“Gilmore Girls,” the much-beloved series telling the story of a mother-daughter duo in quaint Stars Hollow, Connecticut, is coming back and has a new trailer to tease fans into a frenzy.
As the official Netflix release details, “Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” will include “four 90-minute chapters, each spanning one of the four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.”
The series was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who executive produced, wrote, and directed the four mini-movies with Daniel Palladino.
The trailer re-teams daughter Rory (Alexis Bledel) and mom Lorelai (Lauren Graham) for their usual extensive banter. Naturally, years has passed, so the timely topics of conversation include Amy Schumer, John Oliver, and water sports. Plus there are a metric ton of Pop Tarts on the table. Funnily enough Amy Schumer has responded to her inclusion in the trailer.
I've only done 2 water sports and they took pictures of it both times. I promise I usually just lay there (sex too)https://twitter.com/vulture/status/758370781411803136 …
“Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” premieres on November 25, the day after Thanksgiving. So prep your day-after sandwiches and leftovers; this will be a day spent on the couch rather than at the mall.
