Jamie Lee Curtis’ decades-long battle with Michael Myers is coming to a bloody close. A new trailer has arrived for “Halloween Ends,” the final installment of the horror franchise, which sees Laurie Strode (Curtis) preparing for an epic showdown with the mask murderer who has wreaked havoc on her life since she was a teenager.
“What are you going to do when Michael comes back for you?” Laurie is asked. “Because he is coming back.” Set four years after the events of 2021’s “Halloween Kills,” which concluded with Michael disappearing into the night after murdering Laurie’s daughter, the film reunites Laurie with Michael, whom she’s convinced has changed. “Something feels different,” she observes. “He’s more dangerous.”
The iconic Final Girl is starting to wonder if the only way Michael Myers can die is if she dies too. She seems willing to pay the ultimate price to get rid of him once and for all. “Come and get me,” Laurie taunts him. “It all ends now.”
Curtis’ recent credits include “Everything Everywhere All At Once” and “Knives Out.”
“Halloween Ends” hits theaters October 14.
