Trailer Watch: Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin Say Goodbye in “Grace and Frankie’s” Final Episodes

"Grace and Frankie"

“It was a crazy ride, but I’d rather take a crazy ride with you than a normal ride with anybody else,” Jane Fonda tells Lily Tomlin in a new trailer for the final episodes of “Grace and Frankie.” Season 7: Part 2 of the Netflix sitcom drops April 29.

The spot sees the best friends taking stock of their lives. “I’m an 80-year-old woman and I’ve earned the right to take my sweet fucking time,” Grace (Fonda) announces. The duo are taking the time to reflect on their past, present, and future. “As you approach the end, you start to wonder who you really are,” Frankie (Tomlin) observes. Grace admits, “I’ve wasted too much time catering to the men in my life.” And Frankie is convinced she needs “a triumphant ending” for her life.

Marta Kauffman (“Friends”) and Howard J. Morris (“According to Jim”) created “Grace and Frankie,” which is making history as Netflix’s longest-running original series.
