Trailer Watch: Kimmy Is Accused of Sexual Harassment in Season 4 of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”

"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"

“I know you’re just a sweet girl who don’t know how to act,” Titus (Tituss Burgess) tells Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) in a new trailer for the fourth and final season of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.” The observation is as insulting as it is accurate. We see a flashback of her interrupting her roommate showering — and getting into the shower with him — to ask if they can ride an escalator together later that day.

Season 1 of the Netflix comedy saw Kimmy being rescued from a doomsday cult in Indiana and moving to New York City. Now Kimmy’s working at a start-up company, and it looks like she’s struggling to adjust to office culture.

When asked to fire a coder, Kimmy panics. “I never want to make people sad,” she whines.”I’m not an Eeyore. I’m a Pooh, a big ‘ol Pooh!” She also finds herself accused of sexual harassment due to a misguided attempt to make a co-worker feel less self-conscious that involves removing her pants.

Meanwhile, Titus is avoiding Jacqueline’s (Jane Krakowski) calls. His new agent never seems to have good news, and the last gig she secured him wasn’t quite what he expected.

“Kimmy” returns to Netflix May 30. The first six episodes of the season will be released, and the rest of the season will drop later this year. Check out the trailer to see Titus teaching Kimmy about white privilege and one of Kimmy’s co-workers telling her about just how hard it is to be a man today.
