Trailer Watch: Linda Hamilton Must Save the World — Again — in “Terminator: Dark Fate”

"Terminator: Dark Fate"

Sarah Connor is back and as badass as ever in a new trailer for “Terminator: Dark Fate.” The clip kicks off with Sarah (Linda Hamilton) being interrogated by a Grace, a self-described “enhanced” human (Mackenzie Davis, “Halt and Catch Fire”) pointing a gun in her face. “August 29, 1997, was supposed to be Judgement Day,” Sarah explains. “But I changed the future. Saved three billion lives. Enough of a résumé for you?” Unimpressed, Grace tells her, “No — you may have changed the future, but you didn’t change our fate.”

Sarah and Grace, a hybrid cyborg/human, must team up to protect Dani (Natalia Reyes, “Birds of Passage”), who is being hunted by a newly modified liquid Terminator from the future.

The trailer sees Sarah reuniting with an old foe — the original Terminator himself (Arnold Schwarzenegger). But it looks like they’re fighting on the same side this time.

“Terminator: Dark Fate” hits theaters November 1.
