Trailer Watch: Lynn Chen Steps Behind the Camera for “I Will Make You Mine”

"I Will Make You Mine"

A trailer has dropped for Lynn Chen’s directorial debut. “I Will Make You Mine” tells the story of three women (Chen, Ayako Fujitani, Yea-Ming Chen) in their early 40s who share a history with musician Goh Nakamur, who plays himself. The spot sees the trio fielding awkward questions about kids, sharing suspicions about infidelity, and talking candidly about Goh.

“I Will Make You Mine” marks the third and final installment of the Goh Nakamura film trilogy, following 2011’s “Surrogate Valentine” and 2012’s “Daylight Savings.”

Deadline reports that Gravitas Ventures recently acquired “I Will Make You Mine” and will release it May 26. The pic is set to make its world premiere at SXSW in March. Chen penned the script. “Shameless,” “Go Back to China,” and “The Affair” are among her recent acting credits.
