“We are more than just nail artists — maybe it’s time we own it,” says Niecy Nash in a new trailer for “Claws'” third season. The ladies of the Nail Artisans of Manatee County have spent a lot of time and suffering following other people’s orders. Now they’re determined to “run Florida.” The upcoming season of the TNT crime drama sees the squad rolling the dice and taking on the world of gambling. Last season concluded with Desna (Nash) inheriting a casino, and she’s convinced “there is so much money to be made.”
Despite being warned that she’s “stepping into a world of darkness,” Desna is intent on getting what she and her friends deserve. “Me and my girls, we’re full gangsters. I didn’t choose the crime life,” she explains, “but I’m gonna win it.”
Nash and co-star Carrie Preston each directed an episode this season.
