Trailer Watch: Paradise – Written and Directed by Diablo Cody

null

We’ve been reporting a lot about Diablo Cody’s directorial debut in the last couple weeks–first about the film’s initial October release alongside Kimberly Peirce’s Carrie, then Cody’s announcement via Twitter that lucky Direct TV viewers would be seeing her new film hit their screens on August 8th.

The first trailer for Paradise was released over the weekend. Starring Julianne Hough, as a religious young woman who experiences a crisis of faith after surviving a horrific plane crash. She decided to go to Vegas to indulge in things she’s never experienced with an excellent supporting cast of Octavia Spencer, Russell Brand, Nick Offerman and Holly Hunter.

Again, if you have Direct TV you can see Paradise on August 8th. The film hits theaters on October 18th.
