Judi Dench’s upcoming Philomena focuses on a woman looking for her son.
Forced to give up her child, after becoming pregnant at a young age, Philomena spends the next 50 years looking for him. With the help of a journalist (Steve Coogan) she travels to America to continue her search. Will this be another potential Oscar nomination for Dench?
Philomena will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and will open in theaters in the US on November 1st.
