Rachel Brosnahan vows to speak her truth in a new trailer for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” in anticipation of the Emmy-winning comedy’s fourth season. The spot kicks off with Midge (Brosnahan) sharing a recent epiphany with her manager (Alex Borstein) “You know what’s great about me? It’s when I’m me,” the stand-up comedian says. “Every single show, I’m going to say exactly what’s on my mind.”
We see footage of Midge taking the stage and doing just that. “I know, shit happens. You should be a bigger man and let it go. Well, I’m a woman, so fuck that,” she tells an audience.
A four-time Emmy nominee in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category for her work on “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” Brosnahan took home the honor in 2018. Her other credits include “I’m Your Man” and “House of Cards.”
In total, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” has won 20 Emmys. Its fourth season kicks off on Prime Video February 18. “Gilmore Girls” alumna Amy Sherman-Palladino created the series.
