“Why do they call it the animal kingdom when it’s clearly run by queens?” asks Reese Witherspoon in a new trailer for Quibi’s “Fierce Queens.” Set to Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater,” the spot offers glimpses of a wide range of animals, cheetahs and seahorses among them, eating, preying, and loving.

Witherspoon narrates the upcoming nature show, which will be available on Quibi when the streaming platform launches on April 6. The Oscar and Emmy winner’s next show, Celeste Ng adaptation “Little Fires Everywhere,” debuts March 18 on Hulu.

The “Morning Show” star’s “Big Little Lies” and “Wild” co-star Laura Dern also has a series in the works with Quibi. The Oscar-winning “Marriage Story” actress will exec produce and star as a bartender in “Just One Drink” for the streamer.
