A new spot for “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” has been released, and the setting isn’t exactly what you’d associate Bee with: She’s in a galaxy far, far away from the “Daily Show” desk that brought her fame.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is one of the most hotly anticipated titles of the year, and excitement over the latest installment of the franchise is being capitalized everywhere, from the American Music Awards to “Saturday Night Live.”
Now Bee is taking to space to hawk her new show. The ad for the upcoming TBS series features Bee entering a cantina-like setting to promote “Full Frontal” to the otherworldly patrons. Sadly, her inability to control her lightsaber results in terrorizing the potential viewers. “I just want to do a comedy show. I don’t want to be a destroyer of worlds,” Bee yelps.
“Full Frontal With Samantha Bee” premieres in February next year.
