Watch: A Newly Single Bisexual Woman Goes Off-Script in Exclusive Clip of “Strangers”

“Strangers”

The presence of a film crew doesn’t deter a woman from spilling her guts to a love interest in our exclusive new clip of “Strangers.” Created and directed by Mia Lidofsky, the series follows two twenty-something roommates in LA, newly single and bisexual Isobel (Zoe Chao, “The Comeback”) and her lesbian best friend Cam (Meredith Hagner, “Search Party”). The former has decided to rent out her spare room to scrape together rent, and this week’s ep of the show sees a film crew taking over the space.

An overly touchy actor asks Isobel to run lines with him, and it’s not long before she goes off-script. “Shouldn’t you be able to love the parts of me that are afraid? The ugly and difficult parts?” she asks the project’s camera assistant, who she’s forged a strong connection with. “Look, I’m just a person like you. Struggling to get through each day and I’m really scared because I thought I was supposed to be more at this point in my life,” Isobel says. She’s still trying to figure out who she is — but she thinks this relationship deserves a chance.

Check out the clip to see how Isobel’s bold declaration is received. You can watch the fifth episode of “Strangers,” directed by Celia Rowlson-Hall, now on Facebook’s new Watch platform.
