A couple days ago, Ellen announced the long awaited sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo. The sequel, Finding Dory, will focus heavily on Ellen’s character Dory from the first film.
As Margot Magowan pointed out over at her blog, Reel Girl, Finding Dory will be only the second Pixar film to have a female protagonist, and the first to put that female character’s name in the title of the film. Hopefully, this will continue and Pixar will make more films with female protagonists.
Finding Dory will be released in 2015.
