Applications are now being accepted for Women In Film’s 2013 Finishing Fund grants.
Each winning project will receive up to $15,000 in cash — in-kind and consultation grants. All projects submitted must be by, for, or about women. Projects must have completed at least 90% of principal photography and have a rough cut when applying. They accept both shorts and features of all genres.
The program was established 28 years ago and has awarded over $2 million in grants to 170 films all over the world. Many of the films that have received the grant have gone on to win Academy Awards and major festival acclaim. In honor of their 28th year, WIF will be publishing 8 weeks of interviews with previous grant recipients called “The Grant Is Only The Beginning.”
The application period is open until April 29 and winners will be announced in October. You can find more details and the application at the WIF site.
