Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, and Mary Steenburgen will be likely be sipping aperitivo cocktails, lounging beachside, visiting vineyards and cathedrals, and slurping up spaghetti on their next adventure. The foursome are re-teaming for “Book Club 2 – The Next Chapter,” which has kicked off production in Italy. Deadline confirmed the news.

Released in 2018, the original “Book Club” grossed more than $104 million on a budget of $14 million. The hit comedy followed four lifelong friends whose worlds are rocked after reading the controversial 2011 erotic thriller “50 Shades of Grey” in their monthly book club.

Erin Simms co-wrote the film with its director, Bill Holderman, and the pair will reunite on “Book Club 2.”

A four-time Oscar nominee, Keaton took home the prize for “Annie Hall.” She stars alongside Elizabeth Lail (“You”) in “Mack & Rita,” Katie Aselton’s upcoming body-swapping comedy.

Fonda has received seven Oscar nominations, and won for “Klute” and “Coming Home.” She scored an Emmy for “The Dollmaker.” She was last seen in the seventh and final season of “Grace and Frankie.”

Bergen took home five Emmys for her starring role on “Murphy Brown” and landed an Oscar nod for “Starting Over.” She recently appeared in “The Conners” and “As They Made Us,” Mayim Bialik’s feature directorial debut.

Steenburgen received an Oscar for “Melvin and the Howard.” “Mr. Mayor,” “Nightmare Alley,” and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” are among her latest credits.
